How Amazon PPC Bidding Works

Amazon PPC (Pay-Per-Click) campaigns charge you each time a shopper clicks your ad. Your bid is the maximum amount you are willing to pay per click. Amazon's auction system considers your bid, relevance, and historical performance to determine ad placement.

The key to profitable PPC is knowing your maximum CPC bid. This is the highest amount you can pay per click while still hitting your ACoS target. It depends on three factors: your selling price, your target ACoS, and your conversion rate.

Enter your current average CPC from Campaign Manager to see how your current spending compares to your profitable bid ceiling. If your current CPC exceeds the max bid, your campaigns are running above your target ACoS.

Add your daily budget to see estimated daily clicks and conversions. This helps you forecast campaign performance and plan inventory around your advertising volume.
