TL;DR

Amazon is rolling out multichannel selling tools in Seller Central that let US sellers connect eBay, Shopify, TikTok and Walmart accounts and manage listings, orders and profitability from one place, at no additional cost. You can edit a product description once and push it to every channel, see every channel's orders on one screen (and fulfill a Shopify order through Amazon), and see profit by product and channel with ad spend, traffic and sales pulled in. It's rolling out gradually, and channels connect through Veeqo, Amazon's multichannel software company. Before you connect, decide which listings you actually want synced, link your SKUs cleanly, and remember that fulfilling an off-Amazon order through Amazon is still a Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) order with MCF fees.

The Real Question: Should Amazon Be the Hub for Your Other Channels?

If you sell on Amazon plus Shopify, Walmart, TikTok Shop or eBay, you probably run four or five dashboards, logins and order queues. Amazon says more than 95% of independent sellers in its store sell across multiple channels, so this isn't a niche problem.

Amazon's answer is to make Seller Central the place where you run all of it. That's convenient. It also means your Shopify catalog, your Walmart orders and your cross-channel profit numbers start living inside Amazon's tools. So the useful question isn't "is this cool?" It's "which parts should I turn on, and what should I set up first so it doesn't create a mess on my other channels?"

What Amazon Announced

Amazon first described the tools on its About Amazon newsroom in September 2026, and posted them to Seller News on October 20, 2026. Here's what they cover:

AreaWhat Amazon Says It Does
ListingsEnhance a product description once on the Manage Products page and it updates everywhere it's live, automatically formatted for each channel. Amazon's AI listing tools can generate channel-ready titles and product details.
OrdersSee every unshipped order from every connected channel on one screen. Select a Shopify order, click to fulfill through Amazon, and tracking updates flow back to Shopify automatically.
ProfitabilityA real-time view of earnings by product and channel, with ad spend, traffic and sales data from all connected channels in one place.
ChannelseBay, Shopify, TikTok and Walmart today, with more channels coming.
Cost and availabilityRolling out gradually to sellers in the US store over the coming months, at no additional cost.

Amazon is also clear about what's live first. Today's experience starts with connecting eBay, Shopify, TikTok and Walmart accounts, importing and linking off-Amazon listings, viewing multichannel sales and orders, and fulfilling across channels. More capabilities follow.

On data, Amazon says the seller decides which channels to connect and what data to share, can disconnect at any time, and that off-Amazon data isn't shared with other sellers or used to inform Amazon's retail business decisions.

How It Works Today

  • Where to Find It: Settings (top right in Seller Central), then Multichannel settings. If your account isn't in the rollout yet, the page says "Multichannel Selling Tools are coming soon" with a Notify me button.
  • The Four Tools: Order Management (view and action off-Amazon orders), Listings Management (view and edit off-Amazon listings), Multichannel Fulfillment (fulfill orders across channels) and Multichannel Analytics (track performance across channels).
  • The Connector: the settings page says your external sales channels connect through Veeqo, an Amazon company.
  • Listings: in Manage Products you switch between Amazon and Other channels, filter by channel and linking status, and link each off-Amazon listing to its Amazon listing. Amazon's own screenshot shows statuses like Linked, In progress and Unlinked, and a setup bar such as "1/100 listings linked."
  • Orders: in Manage Orders, off-Amazon orders show with their channel icon and a Create MCF order button. The MCF panel maps the Shopify SKU to the Amazon SKU and offers options such as Ship in blank box and Block Amazon Logistics as a carrier for this order.

The Part Most Coverage Skips: Set It Up So It Doesn't Break Your Other Channels

Most write-ups stop at "one dashboard." The real work is in the setup, because one edit now reaches every channel.

One description edit updating everywhere is great for specs, dimensions and care instructions. It's risky for copy that should differ by channel. Your Amazon copy is written for Amazon search and Amazon's style rules, while your Shopify product page may carry brand story, bundles or site-only offers. Before linking, sort your attributes into "same everywhere" and "channel-specific," and only rely on the sync for the first group.

2. Clean Up SKUs First

Linking works product by product, and the MCF panel shows a Shopify SKU next to an Amazon SKU. If your SKUs don't match across channels, or one Shopify product maps to several Amazon variants, fix that in a spreadsheet before you link. A wrong link means the wrong unit ships, or the wrong listing gets edited.

3. Treat Off-Amazon Fulfillment as MCF, Because It Is

The tools are free. Fulfilling a Shopify, Walmart, TikTok or eBay order through Amazon creates an MCF order, and MCF has its own fees. Price that into your channel margin before you route orders. Also check each channel's own rules on packaging and carriers; the MCF panel's Ship in blank box and Block Amazon Logistics options exist for exactly that kind of requirement.

4. Use the Profit View, but Check the Inputs

A single profit view by channel can replace a lot of end-of-month spreadsheet work. One Amazon selling partner told Amazon her three-person reporting team spent about five hours a month logging into each channel to compile numbers. Before you trust the new view for decisions, compare one month against your own numbers: are all ad accounts connected, and do refunds and fees match what each channel reports? Our blended ROAS calculator is a quick cross-check.

5. Read the Data Terms, Then Connect One Channel First

Connecting means sharing off-Amazon data through Veeqo. Amazon's stated limits are reassuring, and you can disconnect at any time, but this is a decision for the business owner, not just whoever runs Seller Central. Start with your simplest channel, run it for a few weeks, then add the rest.

FAQ

Which channels can I connect to Seller Central?

eBay, Shopify, TikTok and Walmart, with more channels coming, according to Amazon.

Does it cost anything?

Amazon says the tools come at no additional cost. Fulfilling off-Amazon orders through Amazon is a Multi-Channel Fulfillment order, which has MCF fees.

Is it available to everyone?

Not yet. It's rolling out gradually to sellers in the US store over the coming months. If Multichannel settings says "coming soon," your account isn't in the rollout yet, and you can click Notify me.

Where do I find it in Seller Central?

In the Settings menu at the top right, under Multichannel settings.

If I edit a description in Seller Central, does it change my Shopify listing?

Yes, for linked listings. Amazon says an enhanced description updates everywhere the product is live and is formatted for each channel.

Can I ship a Shopify order with Amazon from Seller Central?

Yes. Select the order, choose to fulfill through Amazon, and tracking updates flow back to Shopify automatically.

Who handles the connection to my other channels?

Veeqo, an Amazon company, according to the Multichannel settings page.

Does Amazon use my Shopify or Walmart data?

Amazon says off-Amazon data isn't shared with other sellers or used to inform its retail business decisions, and you choose what to share and can disconnect at any time.

Bottom Line

Seller Central is becoming a home base for your whole business, not just Amazon. The time savings are real: one listing edit, one order queue, one profit view. The risks are in the setup. Decide what should sync, link SKUs cleanly, price MCF into off-Amazon orders, check the profit inputs, and connect one channel at a time. Do that, and you get fewer dashboards without new problems on the channels that aren't Amazon.
